Ollie and Mo DevaCut Salon
The DevaCurl Transformation Service
From wavy to super curly, the beauty of this service is the customized design for every client. The luxurious process begins with a healthy botanical cleanse and condition, followed by a styling and coaching session.
Arrive at the salon with your curls conditioned, detangled, dried, and with minimal product. Let your hair hang loosely—accessories like ponytail holders can disrupt your curl pattern. If you’re currently using products with sulfates, silicones or heavy oils, do your best to avoid them for one to two weeks before your booking. Ditching those ingredients will make your hair softer, more hydrated and more defined, which will allow the stylist to see your true curl type.
The length of your appointment will depend on whether you’re a newbie, or if you’ve had a DevaCut before. For a new client, plan on being at the salon for two hours. $95+

Bounce Back Treatment Service
The service begins with Buildup Buster Micellar Water Cleansing Serum for a rejuvenating deep cleanse. This powerful cleanser uses micellar technology to gently remove buildup from the hair and scalp without stripping essential moisture. The deep cleanse is followed with a mask treatment. This service concludes with a customized styling session. $ 45+
To get the most out of your Ollie and Mo DevaCut, follow an approved curl routine!
The first step is to do a one time final wash. Start with a clean state by doing a final wash to remove silicones and other unwanted buildup. Use a shampoo that contains sulfates, but not silicones. Follow with a DevaCurl conditioner.
HOw TO Shampoo and Condition
No Poo Cream Cleanser
Sulfate-free= no bubbles Sulfate free cleanses hair without stripping hair of natural oils. Thoroughly wet hair in shower with cool water Using finger tips to apply Massage into scalp a circular motion to free up any excess build up, oils and exfoliate scalp Rinse out while massaging the scalp to ensure cleanser is removed. Do not wring out hair
One Conditioner Apply One Condition Conditioner onto soaking wet hair. Coat hair with generous amount of conditioner, like you are icing a cake. Glide fingers through hair to detangle. You want to squeeze the conditioner into your hair. Splash water on hair to rinse, and scrunch hair to condition ends (you can do this with head flipped over to ensure better curl pattern) Do not completely rinse conditioner from hair
Plop or not to plop
The T-shirt will soak up moisture without creating frizz while your hair dries, significantly cutting down drying time. After you get out of the shower, apply your leave-in conditioner and stylers. Lay a T-shirt (long-sleeved works best) or a microfiber towel out on a chair or bathroom counter with the sleeves at the end closest to you. Flip your head forward, bending at the waist, so that all of your hair is in the center of the towel and on top of your head. Take the flap of fabric that is behind your head and flip it up over your neck, then tie the long sleeves of the shirt (or extra fabric of your microfiber towel) behind your head in a knot. If you have extra material or used a long-sleeved shirt, wrap the extra length of the sleeves around to the front and tie the ends in a knot. This will make your turban more secure. Plop for 10-20 minutes before diffusing or air-drying hair.
Dryer on med or low heat, slowest setting. Press the diffuser into your hair so the bowl is scrunching your curls, then you turn the dryer on. Before moving the dryer, turn it off.
Pineapple is done to dry hair at the end of the day before going to bed. The pineapple is a loose, high ponytail on top of your head, that prevents the frizz, knots and flattened curls that come with lying on a pillow. Only the back and sides of your hair will be subject to your tossing and turning. You loosely gather the hair at the very top of your head, and put it in a ponytail. Because it sticks up and flops over your head resembles a pineapple. The scrunchie or ponytail holder should be loose/tight enough that you loop it around your hair just once if possible
